Otto Kartye · founder

I build the whole thing.

I started in 2004 keeping a university network alive in Satu Mare. Twenty years, one country move and a lot of teams later, I design, build and run complete products: the app on your phone, the website, the AI and the backend behind them.

The story

From a server room in Satu Mare to leading teams in Luxembourg, and then to a studio of my own.

    ROSatu Mare

    Network administrator

    "Vasile Goldiș" Western University

I kept a university campus online and ran its Moodle e-learning platform, while studying for my bachelor's in informatics at the same university. It taught me that software only matters if it stays up.

    Software developer + network admin

    Quelle Romania

From cables to code. I built internal web tools for a large mail-order company and looked after the Linux servers they ran on, so I learned both sides of every outage.

    Collaboration Online Systems

I moved to Luxembourg and spent three years on document management software, from the database to the browser. A new country, a new stack, and French and German in the office every day.

Senior React developer + my first own product

Nexode · JASC Solutions · TimeSpent

I redesigned an admin panel and built a toolbox of form components at Nexode, then a frontend and its admin from scratch for JASC Solutions. On the side I shipped TimeSpent, time tracking and invoicing for freelancers. The first thing that was entirely mine.

If I wouldn't run it myself, I don't ship it to you.

How I work

Four rules I keep

Show it before I build it

Clickable mocks of every screen come first. Nobody should pay for code to find out they wanted something else.

Own it end to end

From the database schema to the App Store listing. Fewer hand-offs, fewer things lost between them.

Small, senior, direct

You talk to the person who writes the code. Answers come in plain words, in your language.

Privacy is a design rule

EU hosting, as little personal data as possible, and AI that runs on the server with a human check.

Start a project

Let's build the next one together.

Tell me what you want to make and who it is for. I read every message myself.
