Each product has its own terms and privacy policy on its own website. This page covers devfireweb.eu only.

Part 2

Privacy policy

We built this website to collect as little as possible. This policy explains what that "as little as possible" is, why we need it, and how long we keep it, in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1Who is responsible

The controller is DevFIRE WEB SRL, Str. Corvinilor nr. 64, ap. 1, 440080 Satu Mare, jud. Satu Mare, Romania, email contact@devfireweb.eu. We are a small company and are not required to appoint a data protection officer; questions go straight to Otto Kartye at the same address.

2Visiting this website

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. Pages are served from Vercel's edge network, and the website's server code runs in Vercel's Frankfurt region (fra1, Germany). When you open a page, Vercel's servers necessarily process technical data to deliver it and to protect the site against attacks: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser's user agent. These logs are kept only for a short time and are not combined with other data.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel is a US company; transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

3Analytics without cookies

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not follow you across websites. Visits are recognised only through a hash of request data that is discarded after a day, so we see totals, not people: which pages are read, which site sent the visitor, country and device type.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4Cookies

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. Your language is part of the address (for example /en or /fr), so we do not need to remember it. That is also why you do not see a cookie banner.

5Contact form and email

When you send the contact form, we receive what you typed: your name, email address, company (optional), the kind of project, a budget range (optional) and your message.

  • How it travels: our server turns the form into one email and hands it to our email provider, Bird (MessageBird B.V., Amsterdam, the Netherlands), which delivers it to our mailbox contact@devfireweb.eu at Google Workspace (Google Ireland Ltd).
  • Nothing is stored on the website. There is no database. Once the email is sent, the website forgets the message.
  • Spam protection: a hidden field that only bots fill in, a minimum time between opening the page and sending, and a limit on how often one IP address can send the form. The IP address is used for that check only, held in memory for a few minutes and not stored.
  • Why: to answer you and, if you want, to prepare an offer (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), based on the consent you give with the checkbox (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time by email; this does not affect what happened before.
  • How long: we keep the email as long as we need it for your enquiry. If no project follows, we delete it within 12 months. If we work together, the correspondence becomes part of our business records and is kept as tax and commercial law require.

Writing to contact@devfireweb.eu directly works the same way, without the form.

6Fonts, links and embeds

Our fonts are served from our own website, so your browser does not contact Google Fonts or any other font service. There are no embedded videos, maps, social media buttons or advertising.

We link to our products (for example portia.ro or kachfit.app). Once you follow a link, the privacy policy of that website applies.

7Who else processes data

We do not sell or share your data. These service providers process it on our behalf, under data processing agreements:

ProviderWhat forWhere
Vercel Inc.Hosting, security logs, cookieless analyticsEU (Frankfurt region) and USA (Data Privacy Framework, standard contractual clauses)
MessageBird B.V. (Bird)Delivering the contact form emailEU (the Netherlands)
Google Ireland LtdOur mailbox (Google Workspace)EU; transfers to the USA under the Data Privacy Framework

8Your rights

You can ask us at any time, free of charge, to:

  • tell you what data we have about you and give you a copy (Art. 15 and 20 GDPR),
  • correct it (Art. 16) or delete it (Art. 17),
  • restrict how we use it (Art. 18), or object to uses based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21),
  • withdraw your consent, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).

One email to contact@devfireweb.eu is enough. We answer within one month, usually within days.

You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority: in Romania, where our company is registered, the ANSPDCP; or the authority where you live or work, for example the CNPD in Luxembourg.

We make no automated decisions about you and do no profiling.

9Changes to this policy

If the website changes how it handles data, we update this page and the date at the top. This version is from 9 October 2026.
