The problem
Recipes, goals, allergies, a half-empty fridge.
Meal planning means juggling recipes, nutrition targets, a family's allergies, a half-empty fridge and a shopping list in three languages. Most apps solve one piece.
What KachFit does
KachFit connects the whole loop: goals and allergies shape the plan, the plan becomes one shopping list, the pantry trims it, and cook mode walks you through it.
Features
What it does
01Recipes that fit everyone
Filter by diet, allergies, dislikes and per-meal goals: kcal, protein, carbs, fibre. Most recipes take under 15 minutes.
02Fill my week
A Monday-to-Sunday planner places meals automatically, including leftovers as next-day lunch.
03One merged shopping list
Scaled to the household, grouped by aisle, with FR/DE names for Cactus, Delhaize, Lidl and Aldi. Printable on A4.
04Shop together, live
Everyone in the household plans the same week and ticks the same list, live, on every phone.
05At home pantry
The list subtracts what you already have. Meals show “Ready to cook” or exactly what is missing.
06AI photo scanning
Snap your groceries, your fridge or a till receipt and KachFit adds the items with amounts. You review before anything changes.
07Cook mode
One step at a time, large type, timers, screen kept awake. A cooking diary keeps ratings and photos.
08Nutrition per portion
Values calculated from about 460 ingredients using the French CIQUAL reference database.

How we built it
Under the hood
Designed, built and run by DevFIRE WEB, end to end. The engineering choices that matter most:
Shared lists that never fight
Two people ticking in the same shop never undo each other: conflict-free updates over Supabase Realtime, and it keeps working through flaky supermarket reception.
Vision AI with a human check
Gemini reads fridge photos and receipts (quantities, pack sizes, prices, store, date) into structured data, validated on the server and reviewed by the user. Photos are not stored.
Search built for scale
The catalogue is designed for tens of thousands of recipes: index-only scans, cursor pagination, millisecond queries.
One design system, two platforms
Tokens generated from one JSON source for web and Flutter, with automated WCAG AA checks in both themes. Strings come from one four-language dictionary.
Nutrition from a reference
Values per portion are calculated from about 460 ingredients using the French CIQUAL database.
